Like I said before, I love a bedecked wedding party. Parents included. Here's a new design that was custom-made for a mother of the bride in a UK wedding set to take place this September. Add Comment So I am a huge fan of the women of honour in your wedding party rocking not only gorgeous (and re-wearable) frocks, but I also thoroughly love the look of a bridal party bedecked in accessories. Not just a delicate pearl necklace or a simple bracelet or earrings, which, by the way, are all lovely, but with luscious feather fascinators, and birdcage veils, and delectable over the top hats. Today's project is a bespoke piece for a wedding I'm working on for a lovely Toronto bride, and this one in particular is for her Maid of Honour. Thoughts? I just got off the interweb with a lovely bride named Trisha, who requested an ornate and eclectic design for her upcoming winter wedding. I think I might call it the Patrician, to bring in all the Greco-Roman pomp I like, but also to include the bride's namesake in the title. Here it is! |
